Carolyn Robertson is a mastered prepared nurse who for the past twenty-five years has specialized in the care of patients with Diabetes. Carolyn believes that patients should be given the knowledge, the skills and the support that will allow them be active participants in their own care and allows them to lead happy and healthy and active lives. She facilitates that change in an atmosphere that recognizes the uniqueness of the individual and acknowledges the individual’s right to decide. At the present time, Carolyn is on staff at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is the Associate Director of the Mount Sinai Diabetes Center located in New York City. She has extensive experience with Type 1 Diabetes, insulin pumps, and pregnancy. She is certified as a Clinical Specialist by the American Nurses Association and as a Certified Diabetes Educator.

Scott R. King is President of Islet Sheet Medical. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago in 1977 and his M.A. in Biochemistry from Harvard University in 1978. He was an investment analyst specializing in biological and medical technology at F. Eberstadt & Co. in New York and Montgomery Securities in San Francisco from 1979 to 1986. He wrote Wall Street's first investment report on the diabetes industry. He has been an independent venture investment analyst specializing in analysis of the scientific, technical, commercial and market opportunity for ventures in biological and medical technology. He has many years experience in diabetes research including previous ventures in the islet transplantation field. Scott R. King is not Scott M. King.
